As you will see I'm not opinionated at all! I love to spend time in the beautiful countryside as long as it's not coming down with bleedin snakes and all! see the Irish don't like Snakes so that's were my relationship with Indiana Jones ends.

I'm an engineer and a father. I love the Sea infact my idea of a good house is one that looks out to sea.I can be a bit of a wind-up artist socially as my irreverant and dark humour can at times be controvertial.Generally though I'm considered to be good company and a social butterfly especially after a few glasses of wine,whiskey or beer..the conversation and laughs can get to a level of Irish Bluster and people think they're in the 3rd class accomodation in the Titanic with a pint of guinness and a few good friends.
I'm told I've got a bit of the old Irish "twinkle in my eyes" I swear I've never looked at another woman in my life and I'm a totally faithful bloke ,well ok one of them statements is true the other one is a sort of a half truth that I can be forgiven because what true Irishman hasn't an eye for the women?
So on that note and as this profile continues and I slowly decend into the realms of fantasy I'll leave you to ponder through my posts and as Dave Allen would have said and I quote--

Interests: MUSIC)As far as music is concerned, well I love Van Morrison,Phil Collins,most of the mid 70's and 80's definitive..I suppose they remind you of younger days..though I do love new music from groups like Snowpatrol and My Chemical Romance..pretty much anything played by Chris moyles or Scott Mills on radio1 ...you got to keep on top of the new music as an old guy just incase some young bird wants to take me out to lunch!!!!! haha
MOVIES)I like to watch old movies..the sort of Adventure movies with music from Dimitri Tiomkin. ..for instance The Alamo..however I do like old movies with Errol Flynn swashbuckling around .Favourite actor is Daniel Day Lewis.other's notable..Anthony Hopkins,Michael Caine or Sean Connery.A bit of Tom Hanks and Mel Gibson is ok too..female actors well I suppose good old Sandra Bullock and Julia Roberts in spats however I'm not keen on these Henry James or Keira Knightley type productions with her poncing around with some old Dame something or other that should have been put in a home long ago!(I hate Hugh Grant ewwwww)bumbling idiot! I don't like modern horror movies though I do like Kenneth Branagh's Frankenstein. quite like Russell Crowe. Gladiator..however he was in a quaint little movie "A year in provence" which I found quite funny..so I suppose you could say I like Ridley Scott movies.
TV) All quality British Tv dramas,documentary,comedy,history and News ..ie the BBC,ITV ,CHANNEL4 Sky news. The rest is a load of codswallop!!!!
BOOKS)20000 leagues under the sea,Darren Clarke "my ryder cup story" Whiskey bible...Scottish Battles ..The history of Ireland.
HEROES) Errol Flynn,John Wayne,Humphrey Bogart,Edward G Robinson,Spencer Tracey,Marlon Brando,Muhammad Ali ,Smokin Joe Fraser,Jack Nicklaus Big Darren Clarke for bringing a tear to my eye and for all he's been through "Me Ma" lol
SPORT)I used to race moto-cross years ago but now I'm ok at golf,I suppose you could say I was ok at most sports except Crown Green Bowling.Thats for old guys in white caps from Scotland or Ireland and anyway you need powerful big snooker cues for that game.
