well I was driving along yesterday morning when low and behold the presenter of 94.5 kfm Ryan O'Connor spoiled my whole day! .
"good morning and welome to the lekker radio show and we can start of today with a warning from cape town reptile specialist who has warned the residents of the Western Cape to be aware now spring and summer is fast approaching to be aware that our resident SNAKE population will be waking up out of their winter seista and looking to sun themselves and eat an odd rodent or maybe three! .
Well be gesus and be gara it's bad enough that i'm out of the only country were "no snakes" live but I immediately had visions of being stuck down an old mummies tomb with Indiana Jones ...Cobras spitting and me and Indie fighting over the only flame lit torch in the building...(of course I knocked his ballocks in) anyway slither slither apparently according to the radio presenter the bleedin place is coming down with "Cape Cobras" and them bleedin tree hangers on " Boomslangs" needless to say I immediately stopped the Bakkie ranger and had a quick look under the hood and my seat...I'm not scared of snakes at all .huh see if I care...like me scared of snakes..? well anyway here is what the suckers look like !. first is a boomslang and then a cape cobra ,I'm buying a big pair of knee length army boots!
