Gordon Brown's Churcillian Moment?
Mood:  incredulous
Topic: The Credit Crunch

Some people are comparing Gordon Brown to Churchill, after his financial thesis adopted by the whole world, infact the French Le Mond  described him as "Le saucerer" I however have a slightly different view.

Looks like the old Monty python sketch about bankers and accountants being boring may once again become the norm! After they sit around in their boardrooms and ponder the "good old days" , they will probably come to the conclusion that 10 years of excess has been stopped by their fellow banking supremo, the maestro, naa le saucerer manifique has pulled the cobwebs back over their heads and they will all have to crawl back into their webs of deceit.

I will hand it to Gordon Brown he is a good banker ,however we should wait a little while to see if his “master plan” has worked. I'm afraid he let his financial finger of the pulse when he took over at Number 10. Gordon is not a politician as he proved in his remarks over Iceland. With his attitude the Russians will move in and finance the broke banks of Reykjavik. I think monsieur le saucerer should immediately get on a flight, shake hands with their PM and bring the Icelandic people back into the friendly arms of democracy.Offer help and humility and go against his stoic ,dour and prudent Scottish roots Have a bit of humanity and leave his bankers hat off for once!

Here endeth the political debate!
